🏃♀ TAKE CARE OF YOUR KNEES 🏃♂
When it comes to arthritis knee pain 😞, losing weight can really pay off 💪 🙏
In fact, losing 10 pounds can take tens of millions of pounds of pressure off the knees every year 🛳 🚤
Why is this important?
Less pressure on a knee joint means less friction potentially damaging to the cartilage, i.e. between the bones of the knee joint 😉
Experts estimate that for every pound you weigh, your knees feel the force of 3 pounds of pressure as you take a step 🥵
1 lb of body weight = 3 lb of pressure on one knee / step
10 lbs too much = 30 lbs of knee pressure / extra step!
For an average of 5,000 steps / day, this makes:
5,000 steps X 30 lbs of pressure = 150,000 lbs of pressure on the knees per day too much 😰😱
Hum … for 365 days, that’s 54M pounds of excess pressure 🥵
In short, losing 10 pounds can make a difference of almost 54 million pounds of pressure on your knees each year … 👍😚
With what we now know about effective rapid weight loss techniques, I urge you to reach your healthy weight … You will kill more than 2 birds with 1 stone, guaranteed 😊
Bonne santé 😊

🧐👉 How carbohydrates affect our bodies and how they can help us 🙂 … or hinder us 🥵 in our quest to lose weight and optimize our health 💪
As you can see in the video (PS: The beginning is rather theoretical, but the rest is very practical 😊), the best foods to choose for weight loss will be of course foods that do not make us feel hungry again 2 hours later…
So foods such as:
• At low glycemic index
• That contains enough protein, good fat and fiber
• Complete, therefore natural, coming from our beautiful land 😊 Organic as much as possible!
• Which are not processed in factories with lots of preservatives, sugar, sodium …
• Which are dense in vitamins and minerals
🏋🚵🤸 AND HOW ABOUT EXERCISING?
Exercise is great for physical and mental health, but not specifically for weight loss. For this, you have to mainly rely on food types 🍅🥑🥗
As some would say: “We lose weight in the kitchen, we preserve our health in the gym or with outdoor activities” Lol 😊
In theory, exercising without a change in diet should help people lose weight. In practice, this is not what happens 🤓
Why ? Several reasons, but basically:
• Many people will eat extra, the equivalent of the calories burned by exercise, for example with larger portions or with an extra dessert 🍨🍰
• Other people, at the sight of: Marketing, Marketing, Marketing of fast food 🍔🍟 🍕 desserts or others, will think that they are hungry… The hunger hormone, ghrelin, can be triggered among other things, simply with the sight and smell, yes yes 😎
So it’s easy to take back those hard-burnt calories during exercise, hehe 🙃
High intensity interval training … hum, it’s great for some people who are already in good physical condition, but for others it can stress the body and in fact block weight loss. It’s all a question of adaptation and dosage 🤔
Happy discovery 😊

With all the products marked low in fat on the market, you would think that reducing fat intake would be a good way to improve our health. In fact, the opposite is true, there is too little fat!
Did you know that to assimilate the fat-soluble vitamins, namely A, D, E and K, you absolutely need fat! With Fat free, these vitamins that we take in our diet or our supplements cannot pass through the intestinal walls and end up in our blood, so they are lost forever!
I’m talking about there being too little good fats, not the trans fats found in vegetable shortening and many processed foods like pastries, cookies, pies, cakes, croissants. These trans fats increase inflammation in the arteries, promoting atherosclerosis which can cause cracks, clot and cause a heart attack.
Fats can be divided into three families: Unsaturated fats, saturated fats and trans fats. Unsaturated fats and some saturated fats are the preferred ones because they have a positive effect on the health of our heart.
The great thing about omega-3 polyunsaturated fats is that their benefits don’t just end with heart health. Omega-3s help prevent certain cancers, improve mood, and keep the brain functioning well. Studies show that a diet rich in omega-3s can delay or prevent the onset of dementia, such as Alzheimer’s disease!
In addition, depriving yourself of fat also means depriving yourself of delicious and excellent foods for your health such as:
Avocado – packed with fiber and potassium;
Nuts, almonds and hazelnuts – full of vitamins;
Dark chocolate – packed with antioxydants;
Eggs – filled with choline.
Good fats…take advantage of them! 😊
